Basketball has been a part of most of my life. I started to play, and dribble the basketball when I was only 2 years old. I have been playing basketball ever since. Playing in college is something that I want to do and hope to have the opportunity to. What makes me different from the other athletes is that I am not quite as tall, or big, as them. Also, the thing that separates me from other candidates is that I play my hardest, and try my hardest, although I am not as tall, I think to myself, "heart over height". I play well with my teammates and try to motivate them. I think that this is a good way to try get to the next level of basketball and it would be an honor to plan ahead on my basketball career. I am a dedicated basketball player, and I also work well with my teammates and correct them in a nice way. Also, I can be a good leader, and I always step up to do the hard work in the games, like handling the ball, making plays, setting screens, and scoring big baskets for my team, and sometimes getting the rebound. One time, in my eight grade year, I played with the high school boys, and there wasn't that many people. About 6 of us. I was like, only 5'3" and there was a lot of people who were 6 foot something and I still scored about 14 ppg in the district league. Last year, I got the All-tourney award.
