I am Connor Fitzgerald and I have had a goal of playing college basketball since the sixth grade. I pride myself on being a strong competitor and the best version of myself. I was on a national champion soccer team in middle school, but I would come home after training and shoot free throws. It was at that point I decided to focus on basketball full time and pursue my collegiate goals. Still, no matter the sport, I always have looked to be an energetic and leading teammate. I have spent two summers at the Air Force Academy basketball camp, winning MVP and displaying traits of discipline and pride. In addition to my technical skills on the court, I am proud that all of my coaches have praised my game iQ and the ability to make the smart play, keep my teammates focused, and communicate throughout games. These characteristics translate to the classroom as well. I have not had a B since quarter two of eighth grade, as I commit much time and effort to my grades. I have enjoyed challenging myself in high school and finished sophomore year in honors classes and a 4.28 GPA. Finally, I will not be out-hustled. Whether I am on the court or not, my tenacity and work ethic brings myself and others around me to a positive outcome every day.
