Hello, my name is Duncan Ellis. I am a 6'3, 180lb combo guard that plays at Christopher High School in Gilroy CA. I have been on varsity all three years, and a starter since the end of my freshman season. I have been a team captain since my sophmore year, and I was also nominated first team all league for my sophomore and junior seasons. I was named our Team MVP this year, on our team that won its first league champinship, took second in CCS Division 2 championships, and made it to the second round of state playoffs, the furthest in school history. I have played AAU for Top Flight Elite where I have played against some high level competition all throughout California and other states. My freshman year I trained at Gavilan College under Coaches Dalls and Derek Jensen, who turned Gavilain into one of the top Junior College teams in all of California as they were ranked number 1 for a period of time. Off of the court, I have a 4.1 gpa, and am involved in my clubs, while also working a part time job at our local nike story. I believe that I am a very mature and unselfish person on and off the court, as I am more than willing to put the success of the team above my own. I am always determined to work harder, and be better than I was the day before. I have no history of any past conflicts with any coaches or players before, and have always been a team player. I strongly believe that basketball is a team game, and it is not about the individual but about winning at the end of the day. I will bring a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to any team that I play for, as I will always try my best to help the team in anyway I can.
