Francis Pierce '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Francis Pierce and I am a 5'11 combo guard at Larchmont Charter High School in Los Angeles, California. I have maintained a 4.19 cumulative GPA and have started for 3 years on varsity with my 4th coming up. I am interested in pursuing a field in the social sciences and possibly majoring in sociology. For this reason, I want to attend a strong academic school that also offers me the chance to play basketball competitively, preferably at the DIII level. While I have high aspirations, I am willing to take a seat on the bench for a year and train with the team if it is what's required of me.

I have experienced both a toxic team atmosphere and a positive one, and I know that one where everyone is pushing each other while uplifting one another will yield the greatest results. I want to help impact and become a part of a team's culture that resembles this one.
