Highlights As a basketball player, and a student-athlete I feel like people's expectations for me are held at a high standard, but being an athlete helps me overcome the pressure that may come along on and off the court. I have a vision to play in the NBA and while I'm young and healthy, I hope to get a scholarship. Me being the person I am when the competition level is raised higher my level of play does as well, that's why I feel I have what it takes to play anywhere I go. Even if I were to get a D2 scholar I feel I have the fortitude to play the best I can to get the opportunity to play D1. I have a good mind set and it takes hard work, dedication, a good team, prayers and beliefs to make it to where I plan to be. Though academically I had a rough Freshman year I've realized how important grades are and this year I feel my habits in the classroom have improved. It's clear now that in order to have a bright future my grades are a key element.
