Basically, I have basketball in my blood! My goal is to follow in my uncle’s footsteps, playing college basketball and go on to play in the NBA as he did back in the 80’s.
For me, playing basketball is truly what makes me happy, and it has gotten me through some really tough times. In 2019, when I was 12, my dad passed away from leukemia. During that unstable time in my life, basketball was a comforting constant. Even today it can calm my nerves and clear my head.
I also got some other positives out of those difficult times. I have better big picture view of life, which I feel is an asset to me both on and off the court. It has also made me stronger and even more determined to work to my full potential and accomplish my dreams, because none of us are promised tomorrow!
I know that I will be an asset to any team, you can always depend on me to show up, and work my hardest for my coach, my team and for myself.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
