David Hageman '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a multi-sport athlete (basketball, track and football). I have a passion for basketball and it is a huge part of my life. It has helped me to grow personally, relationally and athletically. I have a commitment to getting better both on and off the court and feel that continuing to improve my skills is the most important thing. 

I know that I would be a strong asset for your team. I will bring hard work, great character, high level athleticism, great teamwork and the ability to play with high basketball IQ.  I feel like I am an all-around basketball player:  I can shot the 3, have a quick drive to the hoop, I can dish the ball and I can play strong great defense.

I would like to share a small part of my story. I was adopted with my older brother from Ethiopia to America when I was 10 years old. I had to leave my birth mother, but her wish for me was to have an opportunity that she never had. I am working hard now so I can have an opportunity to graduate with a college degree and to follow my dream of continuing basketball at the college level.
