Daniel Ciriello '25 Recruiting Profile

A ball and a hoop. It sounds and seems so basic, but to me, it is much more. If you talk to my past or current coaches, they will say that I am always working hard to improve in every aspect of the game. 

I believe in giving 100%.  In the classroom, on the court and with my friends and family. When I focus and work hard, I find each of these seem to be easier.  When I get my chores done, homework completed and get the the gym, I feel great. 

On the court I create opportunities for my teammates to play the best they can. The better my teammates get, the better I get. I am an impact player. My biggest strength is I will do anything to win. Take a charge, dive for loose balls, force turnovers.  Defensively I am a nuisance and proud of it. I do the intangible things that don't make the stats books. I am always open to learning new things and I am motivated to get better each day. 

Off the court I was raised to be kind, respectful and greeting people with a firm handshake.  Family is important to me.
