My name is Tyler Nordstrom. I am a junior at Plainfield High School in Connecticut. I have a 3.6 GPA .I am interested in science and mathematics. I am a 5'10 Point Guard I weigh 155 pounds. This past year as a junior I averaged 23 points 3 rebounds and 7 assists a game. As a sophomore I averaged 10 points as a sophomore and starting my team made it all the way to the ECC finals but lost. As a freshman I played JV and Varsity football and basketball but my passion is basketball. I have always immersed myself fully in the game of basketball since I was four years old. This is when I started playing organized basketball which has helped me with social skills, meeting new people and working together with my team. I have played several years of AAU and recreation basketball. While in middle school I started as a fifth grader leading my team to three championships. I have also attended multiple basketball camps over the years, my favorite camp was the Red Auerbach camp where I won "The Red Auerbach award which symbolizes energy, strength, power and love." Which was an honor.
I value my family, teachers and coaches opinions. There advice and guidance are benefits to me without there help I wouldn't be where I am today. I have been influenced in so many different ways to help me discover my interests. I am hoping to fulfill my hopes and dreams with hard work, dedication, optimism, time management, setting goals and teamwork. I'm working towards my goals of being a great college student and great athlete.
