Playing college basketball is a definite goal for me, whether its D1, D2, D3, or at a Junior College even. To be realistic, my college basketball career will either take place at a D2 or D3 school. D1 or nothing is not a statement I believe in, everyone has their story to success. Given how late I started the game of basketball and how many years I lost, in terms of development, I've grown tremendously. From not having the ability to remembering plays and knowing my spot(s) when I'm in the game to being a key role player for my varsity team that marched to the Connecticut D3 High School state championship. To put it differently, I am a student-athlete who is coachable, disciplined, and developing my overall game every day, not just focusing on my specialty of shooting. Outside of basketball, as a person, I will remain respectful, caring, insightful, responsible, and trustworthy regardless of the college campus I'm on. Furthermore, when any college coach or admissions officer takes a look at my transcript, they will witness what it means to truly grow. They will see 1.9 next to the GPA category for my freshman year but then will see 3.0 for my 11th-grade year, with 3 AP courses. This year as a senior, I am taking now 4 AP courses. Being the top prospect in your state or country is great, its YOUR story. My story is different, and the way I write it is what separates me from other recruits.
