Jonathan Barton '25 Recruiting Profile

 I was recruited to play with an older (UAA) DC Premier team.  I also played for the first Washington, D.C. Black Ops team founded by Carmelo Anthony. I've also been a player for Team Takeover (EYBL). On top of that I was the MVP for the Mid Atlantic Basketball Classic and most recently within the last couple weeks I got MVP for the Big 60 college exposure showcase.

I am very confident and ambitious. I am a team player and even though I play guard,  I am willing to accept any number of roles that a coach might desire me to play.  I am fearless and was originally trained to play with older players so I have no fear of older players. I play on a team of older boys instead  of playing with players that are my age. I am a fighter and I don’t stop playing hard until the game is over.

My goals and aspirations are not only to make the NBA but also to earn a basketball scholarship and play at the Division 1 level. My parents got multiple D1 offers to play basketball and football.  I know how important academics are and keeping my grades up.  I make honor every quarter and I take my grades very seriously.
