Benjamin Walker '23 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate aspiration is to be the best student athlete and go play basketball at any college that will give me a chance to show my abilities and my skills. I have a great ability to shoot, love to play defense, able to run the offense,  get teammates open, and have a strong IQ.  In college I would like to get my Bachelor's Degree and Doctor of Medicine Degree in Exercise Science.   As a teammate I always push hard to help my teammates to want to get better and have a great work-ethic. I’m a 1000 point club member and  I work hard to always maintain good grades.  My current unweighted GPA is 3.6 and my weighted GPA is 6.4. In my family, academics is first, then sports (basketball).  I’m currently in the High School Collegiate Program and a member of National Honor Society & National English Honor Society. 

When I graduate High School in 2023, I will graduate with my diploma and an Associates in Arts Degree.  Everyday I try to acquire more knowledge as a basketball player.  My motto is you have to work harder than the person next you to become even a better player and equipped to play at the next level.  Your work ethics sets you aside from others.
