I have always liked playing basketball since I was younger, but I didn’t begin to take it seriously until the 9th grade. After two years of hard work and growth in Dhaka, Bangladesh, I made it a personal goal to play college basketball. I knew in order to do this I would have to move somewhere the competition was tougher and basketball was more popular. With the support of my family, I moved to a boarding school in Bangkok where I pursued my goal of being a college basketball player. Initially moving was a challenge, but I believe it has helped me grow into a resourceful leader. Persevering through this challenging time is a testament to the drive and passion I have for basketball. With the help of a great coach and supportive team I believe I have grown into a very capable, college level basketball player. I have decided to attend Victory Rock Prep School for the 2017-2018 school year to develop myself even further and get more accustomed to playing American level competition 

I am looking to contribute to a positive college basketball program that is a good fit for me athletically, but will also set me up to be successful in life after basketball through academics. Being a 4 sports varsity player and 4 time captain, I believe I am very capable of making a strong and quick impact on your program. I believe I have a leadership quality and work ethic that not many posses. Any coach can rely on me to bring the intensity on both ends of the floor; whether it is a Friday night game or an early morning practice. I’m the kind of player that wants it more than everyone else, and I want to be apart of a program that has the same kind of mentality. I believe my high work ethic, defensive grit, and leadership could be a valuable asset to your program.
