Personal Statement

My name is Bernardo Deberaldini, currently playing at Indian Hills Community College, #4 in NJCAA. I am originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and I am currently a freshman, becoming a sophomore this coming fall. In the fall of 2024, I’ll play as a Freshman for Lincoln Trail College, NJCAA Region 24. In this first season, I’ve started every game of the season, played as RB and CDM, and scored 3 goals, including 1 game game-winning goal. On the academic side, I currently have an overall 4.0 GPA in College, and on December 17th, 2024, I was awarded with a Chancellor’s Academic Honor Award (attached for reference) for being an exemplary player/student, and for having attained a grade point average of 4.00 during the 2024 Fall Semester. During High School, I played my junior and senior years at Victory Rock Prep Academy (Bradenton, Florida), during which I played in various international tournaments and showcases, including the Dallas Cup, IMG Showcase, Disney Presidents Cup, and many others.

Finally, I would like to emphasize that it would be a great honor to have the opportunity to play for you. I played in the Spring for Indian Hills against SIUE, Newman College, Culver Stockton, Marshalltown, Western Illinois, and many other universities/colleges.
2024 Lincoln Trail College (NJCAA D1)
I am currently playing in Lincoln Trail College, A college from the Region 24 of the NJCAA D1, I Started 13 out of 14 games as a right back and CDM, I scored 3 goals in this fall season, 1 game winner in the conference against Lewis and Clark College, number 15 in the Country.

2022 Victory Rock Prep Academy (Great Academy in Bradenton, Florida)
An Academy is full of Brazillian in Bradenton, Florida. Play the high school season and also clubs tournaments. It is my current club.
2021 ID Sports (Agency from Rio de Janeiro)
It is an agency with the main purpose to take Brazilian soccer players to study and play in the US with scholarships in colleges and high schools, this was the team that allowed me to come to the US and other places. Where I chose Victory Rock Prep, which is my current team in Florida.
2018 Volta Redonda (Top 10 team from Rio de Janeiro)
Compete on Mundialito in 2019 in Spain with this team that compete the state championship in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

This was the second tournament of the fall season, we became champions by winning the 3 out of 4 games, winning by 2x0 against Sports Paradize Soccer Academy palm beach wolves 05, losing 2x1 to Southeast Volusia SC SVSC Surf 2005 Boys, winning by 3x1 against Bayside Rush 05/06 Boys, and in the finals we won in the penalties against Southeast Volusia SC SVSC Surf 2005 Boys.

This was the first tournament of the fall season for me and my team, Victory Rock Prep Academy. In the first game, we won by 2x1 against DME Academy. In the second game, we won by 3x1 against Miami Starts. In the Third game, we won by 2x0 against Florida Celtic. In the final, we won by 2x1 of Azzurri Storm, and we were the champions. We classified for Arizona Desert Cup on thanks giving.
