My goals have always been to attend college and develop as the best student athlete I could be. My parents are both the first in their families to attend and graduate with four year degrees post highschool and I want to continue that tradition. I am the first in my family to be a student athlete at this level and I take it very seriously. The hard work and balance to maintain a solid GPA while developing as a player and a person has been a challenge and a positive expeirence. I recognize the opportunity it provides and I am focused on continued growth. As a player my greatest strength is coachability. I want to learn and I take all coaching, positive or negative to heart. I take criticism and let it fuel me to be better rather than to blow it off or take offense to it. Patience is another aspect that I think is important to be able to listen and understand plays and also to be patient with myself when I make mistakes. Mistakes push me to keep improving and I've worked hard to learn to focus frustration into my game. I am also an unselfish and positive teammate. I love to play and to score, but I would rather see my team win than score 30 points myself and have us lose. Being a team player includes letting the offense move fluidly through passing the ball rather than isolating too much. I know my role. At my height and my abillity to shoot I'm a 3 and D type player that can spread the floor and I let the offense come to me. I also work hard and through working hard I believe I set an example.
