Chris Morris '24 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to be the best scholar athlete that I can be.  I strive to get better each day in every area of my life.   If I can outdo myself every day, then I know that I am making improvements.  I always give everything I do 110%.  I never want to think that I could have done more.  So I do more up front. My current grade point average is a 3.75 and my semester goal is always a 4.0.  I aim to remain competitive in the classroom as well as on the basketball court.  Not only am I an intellectual student, but I am a student of the game of basketball.  I  will major in business with an emphasis in  entrepreneurship.  I want to teach athletes how to create their brands and how to protect their intellectual property through patenting their innovation, trademarking their labels, and copyrighting their written and media work.  

I am a good candidate for any team because I play team ball always.  I am humble and hard-working.  I believe that it is my job to show up everyday and give 110% if not more.  I will always uplift my fellow teammate and help maintain a strong brotherhood that every player can believe in.  Honestly, I‘m just different in general.  I believe in family and my teammates, coaches, and staff become part of my family.  I am an observant person and I can self-correct well.  I also am able to take criticism because I know that everything works together for me to get better.  I am focused on my goals and the goals of the team always.  I am fun to be around.  I try to bring joy with me because playing basketball is fun for me.
