Jason Koval '24 Recruiting Profile

Playing college basketball is something that I think about constantly. I am taking action everyday in order to make that dream a reality. Basketball has had an enormous impact on my life, and I try my hardest to treat every opportunity to play the game with respect, patience, and appreciation. I know that a lot of players work extremely hard, but what separates me is that I understand that basketball isn’t everything. I have learned that being invested in academics, mental health, and family are also very important and crucial to me becoming the best player, teammate, and person that I can be. My basketball goal is to become the best player I can possibly be, and play for as long as I can. I have a true connection with the game of basketball and will do my absolute best to put myself in a position to be able to play basketball at the highest level I can reach. I pride myself in doing what it takes to win and helping create a culture in which everybody on the team is invested into winning, as well as understanding that adversity is necessary in order to grow and learning to love and embrace when things do not go the way I want them to. The opportunity to play college basketball is a true blessing, and something I will continue to work and prepare towards. I know I will succeed in my goal of playing college basketball because I am putting my absolute everything into this dream.
