My name is Caleb Hannah and I know you have not heard of me or seen me, but I am a confident 6’7 wing/guard. I know that a lot of spots have been filled with the transfer portal, but I am a mature 18-year-old and I’m confident that I can help any team compete at the highest level.
My wingspan is 6’11 and my standing reach is about 8’6. Currently, my vertical jump is verified and measured at 38 inches. My High school GPA was a 3.7 out of a 4.0 at Orr Academy High School in Chicago.
After my High School season, I enrolled at Victory Rock Prep Academy in Bradenton, Florida to improve my skills, get stronger and prepare myself for my secondary education. I am also currently enrolled as a part time online student taking core classes at South Suburban College.
I always saw myself going straight to a D1 school and competing for a spot, but I am so happy that I sacrificed a year to work on my skills, and my body.
When I walked onto the Victory Rock campus, I weighed 170 pounds and my confidence as a player was probably a 6 out of 10. Today I weigh 195 pounds and my confidence is a 10.
I had a very good year playing for Victory Rock Academy. I averaged 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists per game and my team and coaches voted me most valuable player. I was named player of the tournament in several tournaments.
I pride myself on being prepared for practice as well as games. I believe in getting everything that my coaches can give me so I can continue to improve.
I am a team player who understands my role and I am very coachable.
I am confident that Prep School has prepared me to be a D1 student athlete with the readiness skills to contribute to your program immediately.
