Robert DeVries '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Robert DeVries, and I am a 6’3’’ point guard going into my senior year of high school. I play on the Rockford Running Rebels and we were ranked #2 in Illinois last year.
I have received All-Conference unanimous the past two years and also received All-State honorable mention this past season after playing just nine games because of a broken ankle, which is now healed. There is a link to my skills video and webpage below.
I attend a small high school (Forreston High School), but I have played AAU at the elite level for the past 6 years. Since I can remember I have wanted to play basketball at the division I level. In college, I want to be a leader that coaches and teammates can rely on, and help to win a championship. My main goals for myself are to never be out worked, to keep playing hard no matter what happens, and to make everyone around me better.
I feel that being a part of your program would allow me to achieve the goals I have set for myself, as well as benefit and help accomplish everything your program has been working for. I am willing to work every day to be the best player I can be and I would love nothing more than to play for you.
