I am very interested in playing basketball at a high level in college, it has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember.  Not only do I want to play basketball I want to use my skills on the court to benefit my life off of the court.  I want to use basketball as a way to gain a great education while competing at a high level.  I believe that I would make a great candidate for your team because of my work ethic,  perseverance through struggles,  and my skills on and off the court.  Responsibility is something that really separates me from other recruits.   At 12 I started a mowing business in my neighborhood and after 4 years have grown the business in many ways.  I hired another employee, expanded  the business to different cities, added a number of different services, and continue to grow.  Along with my business I attend 3-5 basketball practices a week, see a math tutor twice a week, and attended church regularly.  This leads me to another aspect that I believe differentiates me from many other recruits, my faith.  I attend Harvest Bible Chapel along with Peoria Christian School.  My faith is very important to me and I believe that it shows in my personality and decision making on and off the court.  History, Religion, and Literature are subjects that I enjoy studying while in school.  I am very determined to make the best life I can for myself after basketball is over, so I understand the importance of a good education.
