     Thank you for viewing my profile.  My love for the game of basketball is enormous.  I have played this game for as long as I can remember, from playing on the driveway where I have grown up, to competitively on the court.  Basketball has taught me patience and responsibility.  I am told by local media and coaches that I have not reached my full potential as an athlete.  I never want to stop learning and I want to improve as an athlete and as a person.  I seek to be the best in everything I do.  I have realized that hard work doesn't always pay off, but that it is okay because failure can sometimes be a more valuable lesson than victory.  Although I do prefer to win.

     Basketball has taught me how to connect with others to achieve a goal.  I have met great challenges, and pushed myself to overcome them.  Being part of a basketball team has given me the confidence to perform in front of thousands, how to win gracefully and lose humbly.

     I want to continue to play basketball at the next level while I continue my education and pursue a degree.  I feel I would be a great addition to your team.
