Landen Babusiak '22 Recruiting Profile

I love the game of basketball.  I also love to be challenged in the classroom and in life.  I have an inner drive to succeed in life and understand the value of faith, family, team and community.  In the classroom, I strive to be an active participant in learning.  I like to be challenged and engaged.  On the basketball court, defense is my greatest strength.  Preventing the other team from scoring is as important as a strong offense.  As a freshman starter, I helped my team win Sectionals for the first time in 33 years.  We repeated my Sophomore year and were Conference Champions my Sophomore and Junior year.  The award I am most proud of, however, was given to me by an IHSAA referee for exemplary sportsmanship on the court.  Although I am a team player, I strive to be the hardest working student in the classroom and the strongest player on the court.  When I am strong, my classmates and my teammates benefit.  I hope to meet you and get to know your school and team soon.
