Gabriel Ocasio '22 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goal is to play for a school that values academics, teamwork, and helping players be the best version of themselves. My strength is in my work ethic, positive attitude, and strong basketball IQ. I'm always willing to learn, grow, and give 100% to improve myself and my teammates. Over this past year, I've become a confident player because I'm fortunate to have great coaches; I work out daily and participate in skills training at least five days per week. Academically, as a Senior (2021-22), I am enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College and will graduate with 24 hours of college credits in addition to my HS diploma from 21st Century Charter HS in Gary, Indiana. In May of 2021, I was inducted into the prestigious National Honor Society with straight A's on my report card and high recommendations from coaches, teachers, and community leaders. As a well-rounded player both on the court and in the classroom, I look forward to the opportunity to visit your program.
