Jakob Carr '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jakob Carr i am a 6"3 PG/SG from Taranaki, New Zealand. I have Grown up playing basketball since could stand on two feet and have fallen in love with the game ever since. I am extremely hard working in the gym, weights room and classroom, throughout my high school years i have managed to find a great balance between sports and academics. On the court I am a very good leader and was captain of my high school team in 2020 as a senior, I play with a lot of energy, love to get out and run in transition attacking the basket and finding shooters. I am a very good perimeter shooter, with great court vision and strong finishing ability through contact. Defensively I enjoy the challenge of matching up with the oppositions best offensive player and will always play my hardest to limit there productivity and get in there head playing tight aggressive Defence.
