I am Bilgehan Altay Gültekin, a point guard from Turkey. I am a 12th grade student in Italy at one of the worlds best highschool. I am interested in your school’s basketball program. I would like to show my abilities and contribute in games with your team. I have been playing basketball since I was 5 and never gave a break during my career. I played high levels of basketball in Turkey, won multiple championships and even played for the top 3 team in Turkey. Next year I am going to play in an Italian team.

During my freshman year I played Sf however I was already starting at Pg in my highschool team. With the upcoming year I switch to a position Pg/Sg. This year I our tournaments got canceled due to coronavirus.

+I am a 6’2 point guard.

+I am the best defender in my team and also one of the best in the entire country.

+I am very athletic. I can jump high, run fast, thus I am a fastbreak specialist.

+I can see the court and give assists and make the right plays on the offensive end.

+I am one of the smartest players in the country on the court as well as off the court.

+I can drive to the basket and finish stop jumpers in 1on1 plays.

+I was offered a basketball scholarship for highschool in my town.

+I am a microwave/consistent shooter.

1st match is sophomore year against the number1 freshman team in the entire country(Fenerbahçe) We finished championship in top16 that year. Other 2 matches are from my freshman year. We won national A level championship that year and finished in top20 in Turkey.

My academics:

Currently I am studying the best International Highschool in Italy w/notable alumni. Like Chrystia Freeland(foreign minister of Canada), Darren Huston(founder of booking.com) etc.

I am an IB student and I will graduate in 2021
