The amount of passion and commitment I have poured into the sport of basketball is rivaled by nothing else in my life. I fell in love with the game at a very young age, and since then not only has my love for the game grown, but I've also become obsessed with the things that not everyone sees. I've embraced the grind, putting in work when no one else is watching. I've learned to appreciate watching the progression of my game, and working every day to be better than I was when I walked into the gym. I think my dedication to the sport shows on the court. I am willing to do anything my team needs me to do, fill any role I am asked. If I need to score, I will score. If I need to rebound, I'll rebound. If I need to simply play defense, I'll play the best defense I am capable of playing. Not all of this will show up on the stat sheet, but I will play the role I am given to my best ability. I am coachable, adaptable, and a good teammate. Although I am a multi-sport athlete, I am also dedicated in the classroom. I have taken on a multitude of collegiate level classes and have been able to maintain an unweighted 3.6 GPA. I have also been inducted into the National Honor Society, as well as the International Thespian Society.
