Being part of the high school varsity basketball team as a freshman was a great and very eye-opening experience for me. I’ve learned to make the most of every opportunity I get in high school athletics instead of regretting not taking action to better myself and the team. I feel that experience and being a four year varsity player has helped me grow as a leader and has driven my work-ethic to the next level. I’ve also dealt with adversity, and I’ve learned to never give up and stick to the process.
As I finish out high school, I will strive to maintain my high GPA, because academics have always been important to me. As I further my academic career and narrow down my future aspirations, I will pursue them to the best of my ability. With my character, work-ethic, and dedication, I will be ready to be a student-athlete at the college level.
