Lucas Batten '11 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Lucas Batten. My current height and weight is 5'10'' and 165 lbs. My freshman year I was selected to play in a tournament called Junior Nationals at Grandview College in Des Moines, Iowa. My junior year I has named honorable mention in my conference. I was a team leader last year and I will be the team leader this year. I have always wanted to play basketball at the college level, I always give 110 percent effort, and I also work hard in the offseason. I would prefer to go to a school in Iowa, or a state close to Iowa, so I can still be somewhat close to home. I'm not really looking for a certain size of school. I will be the only one paying for my college education, so I will be looking for as much financial aid as I can get. My plans as of now are to major in Biology and then go to a Veterinary School. My athletic goals are to play at the highest competition level possible, to keep improving, and to keep playing basketball.
