Personal Statement
I am Eli Sawyers, class of 2023, from Southeast of Saline High School outside Salina, Kansas. I have always dreamed of playing college basketball, and I want to make that dream a reality. I am a hard worker who hates to lose. If my team loses, I want to find a way to avenge that next time. I work hard both on and off the court, by maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I also play football, am a referee at the local YMCA, and volunteer at my school, church, and in my community. I have played on more than seven teams, and have learned the importance of being and having good teammates, as well as coaches. I think I would be a great addition to any team in need of a small/power foward.
