Maguire Bailey '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Maguire Bailey. I am 6'5 Senior at Northwest High School . I have 11 years of experience of playing basketball. When I got to high school I decided to quit football and put all my work and energy into playing basketball.

As an athlete I am Coachable, Team Oriented, and a Leader..... My love for this game is crazy! I spend around 4-5 hours each day in the gym, just working on shooting and dribbling. I strive to be the best I can be academically and athletically. I believe that anything can be achieved if you put your faith in God and you're willing to put in the work to achieve these goals. Growing up i've always played in competitive basketball leagues and attended camps to improve my game, i've watched basketball and always told my family that this is want I want to do when i'm in college, and now I am even working harder then I was to play at the collegiate level.

Starting around my Freshmen year I started going to competitive camps and showcases to prove that I can play, but there is also room to improve my game. I am a kid that is willing to put in the most work on the team, go for loose balls and get the team fired up when they are down.

I have a 3.0 GPA, but this coming school year I am going to work really hard to get my GPA to around a 3.5/4.0 by studying and putting all my effort into my school work and on the court. I know with a lot of practice and applying myself SKIES THE LIMIT!
