Hello Coaches,
I started basketball later than most. The first time I played in the summer was my freshman year. I wasn't very good but I loved the game, I wanted to get better, and I did. I'd spend hours in my backyard at nights dribbling and shooting until it was too dark to see. I was determined to get better and I did. I upped my ppg by 10 the next year. Unfortunately I had to transfer and couldn't play varsity my junior year. Though on jv I averaged 20 points 5 rebounds and 5 assist. This year however was a roller coaster. We only had 1 guy return from our varsity team, and he was last on the rotation. Plus we had a new coach with a system very different than we were use to. It took a few games for me to adjust but 4 of the last 6 games I had +20 points (one where I shot 100% from 3 and another where I had +30 points). Also my coach did not keep all the stats so he thinks I was closer to 15 points.
If you let me be apart of your team, I will be the hardest worker. I've had to be the past 4 years to catch up to everyone. You also won't have to worry about me when it comes to grades. I take school very seriously and has never fallen behind on grades. I am also a gym rat. I don't go to parties so most my time is spent shooting on whatever court I can find. I will work my absolute butt off to be the best player I can be, I just need an opportunity.
