Tristen Murray '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tristen Murray and I am a 6'1" basketball combo shooting guard, originally from Greensboro FL., currently Bowling Green KY. I have played for the Warren Central High School Varsity basketball team for 3 years. I also play AAU basketball every year and currently played with BG Force. I am an all sport athlete. I play basketball, football, and baseball, but basketball is my sport of choice. Since I first started playing sports, I have aspired to play at the college level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life!

I believe I would be a good fit for a team that is looking for a  guard that has excellent vision, can hit the open shot, as well as someone who can create a lot of opportunities for his teammates by breaking down the defense. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am working hard to improve myself on a daily basis, I attend strength and conditioning training three times per week as well as skills training once per week. I never miss a school open gym and enjoy improving my skills in my spare time. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I am a good student that always thrives to learn more. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the court. I want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. Financial assistance is going to be important to me in the college selection process. I hope to become a great role model to all peers and make my parents proud.
