 Hi my name is Diontae Cannon.  My nickname is DJ.  I am a six foot, 170 Pound guard.  One of the most important accomplishments so far on the court is leading my AAU team to championships in the Las Vegas Gold Division. Off the court my accomplishments are maintaining honor roll and scoring a 23 on the ACT. This year at St Thomas Aquinas High school my team made it to the semi finals. I also participate in many activities with my High School such as Campus Ministry Lite Team, Ambassadors, Fellowship Christian Athletes and Community Service. Some things I can offer to the team is dedication, dependability, a hard work-ethic and a person who is always trying to make myself as well as my teammates better. I always handle my responsibilites in the classroom as well as on and off the court. I personally don't have a preference for a type of school. I am undecided about my major although I would like to pursue something in the field of Nursing/Physician. I have one brother Dwayne Watkins that plays for Northwestern State University Men's Basketball Team.  My family does have financial need so my goals are to play college basketball on a scholarship or get an academic scholarship to help with the cost of college. It would be an honor for me to play college basketball. I love the game.
