Anthony Holmes '23 Recruiting Profile

My aspiration is to become an NBA player or an entrepreneur. Basketball is my passion and I will always put myself in any good position to see my teammates win or shine, and with that being said, I am not a selfish player. I love to play against high levels of competition to make me better on and off the court so I can improve my game of basketball. I never had the chance to play AAU basketball or have any coach personally train me to work on my troubles on the court , so with that being said I was just an average basketball player. Basketball is a sport that I really love and hopefully I get the chance too compete at a professional level.

           I always finish the play no matter what, I am a role model, a leader, and a quick learner. Even though I don’t, I am able to play every position there is on the court. I put my teammates before myself because I want to see everyone win. As of today I currently play Power Forward and center.

         I put academics first before basketball just like I put my team before me. I wouldn’t be where I’m at right now if it wasn’t for my grades or my teammates. I always try to set the tone on the court and keep everything positive, but there are also times where I have my down moments and those are things I need to work on mentally.
