Julius Mitchell '22 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coach,

My Name is Julius B. Mitchell, I am a 6 Ft Guard in the DMV area , currently attending Takoma Academy HS  - located in Silver Spring, Maryland.  I am a Co-Captain (senior Class of 2022, never been re-classed).  This summer I averaged 17 points a game and 8 assists, and achieved a 3.67 GPA with honors and AP classes while playing basketball and soccer (also soccer team captain).  I am a fierce competitor, hard worker, team leader who is committed to training and developing my skills.  I have a passion for the game and can compete with the top players in the country at and above my grade level.  I train with, play against and hold my own against some of the top players in the WCAC, ( i.e., Judah Mintz, Christian Watson). I was Player of the Game twice this summer in victories against WCAC schools in the Capitol Hoops DMV Summer League.   I have traveled to many high school All American camps and have been told by coaches that I was the best player and or guard in the camp (New Jersey, Seattle, North Carolina). I was also Team MVP at Big Shots in Las Vegas and Summer Sizzle in Phoenix, AZ this past Summer.  

I am confident if given the opportunity to play at the collegiate level, I will be that player who people will say "was a diamond in the ruff" and "a rare find that went under the radar".  I am very interested in learning more about your program and discussing the possibility of playing for you next season.  I hope after reviewing my highlight videos you will reach out so we can talk further.
