Bryan Welch '25 Recruiting Profile

I take pride in how I play on the floor. I put a true emphasis on teamwork. I have been acknowledged by the school and my team as being a great teammate. I am not a selfish player, my whole focus is for the team to win.  I have been playing basketball since I was 5.  I have played all positions on the floor, but my three best positions are the 2, 4 and the 5. I realize in college I would be too short to play the center, but I am an excellent small forward who sees the floor well and gets open. I take pride in my rebounding ability and was taught how to box out. I am also an amazing defender.  
I was lucky enough to play under Mike Babul, who truly was an amazing coach. He coached me in AAU since the 8th grade and before that he was one of my trainers.  He inspired me a great deal and always said, "Be The Teammate You Would Want."
