Zach Stephenson '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal has always been to play DI baseball in a strong program that can compete for an opportunity to go to Omaha, and also has a top academic reputation.  I pride myself at competing and winning against the best competition available.  Over the past several years, I have had great success in PG and other top showcase tournaments against DI committed pitchers.  I also pride myself on defense and the ability to "create runs".  I get on base, steal and go station to station with a high-motor to score runs.  I typically lead-off for the GBG Hawks and set the table, but in High School, I get the opportunity to bat 3rd or 5th and knock in runs with more gap to gap power.  Playing both styles, I produce 1.000+ OPS results consistently, with gold-glove defense and plus range in CF at all levels. I love baseball and I am always working hard to become the best ballplayer I can.
