I've had a basketball in my hands since I was 2 years old, and have always dreamed of playing college ball. I have spent an endless amount of hours in the gym- between school sports teams, travel teams, tournaments, camps & attending my dad's basketball practices (he is a high school coach). I can't ever get enough basketball. When other things in life become stressful, basketball makes be grounded. It's in my blood.
While I do have a true passion for basketball, I'm also a two sport athlete in my school. I also play football. Sports, in general, have been a huge motivator in my life. I have learned so much as an athlete that I know will stay with me into my adulthood.
Getting good grades is very important to me. I would like to get both an athletic and academic scholarship for college. I know that in order for me to make this happen, I not only have to put in the work in season, but I also have to work hard on my school work all year long. So far, I have done well, and look forward to being able to continue that in high school.
I am a hard worker with a desire to always improve. My ultimate goal would be to join a college basketball team that I can not only learn from, but also help succeed. I am willing to put in the extra work- and prove that I deserve a spot on the court. I'm looking forward to many more years of working hard and improving- and hopefully finding the perfect placement for my future.
