My name is Corbin Geiman from Monroe, MI. I'm a 6'5" combo Power Forward/Center, that will graduate in 2022. My hope for college is to continue my growth as an athlete and personally at a school which is a good fit, ideally in the Midwest. I am a good defender with a high basketball IQ for my age. I am best in the paint, with my mid-range jump shot, and can shoot from outside as well. During my sophomore year, I was officially diagnosed with having ADD and dyslexia. I continue to learn more about myself and how I best learn. It is a struggle at times, but it has re-emphasized how discipline and hard work pay off. Through my first 2 years in high school my GPA has been a 2.9. Through hard work and effort, I maintained a 3.5 GPA during my junior year, bringing my overall GPA up to a 3.0. I am looking for an opportunity to work hard and gain skills to further develop as a balanced player. I aspire to grow mentally and physically, in order to earn a spot and have a positive influence on the team at both ends of the court. I feel it is always important for players to conduct themselves with honor and respect. How I act on and off the court reflects not only on myself, but my coaches, team, and the school I attend. I care about others and their success and happiness. If I can help someone out in achieving their goals, I will try my best to help. I enjoy coaching and teaching others the game of basketball as well. I enjoy learning the game from individuals more skilled than me and always remain coachable.
