Lewis Gerrity '21 Recruiting Profile

I have 10 years of basketball under my belt and one thing that has stayed consistent within those ten years is that I have always wanted to compete at the collegiate level. Over the ten years, I have played I have developed a deadly three-point shot, steady ballhandling, good court awareness and vision, and reliable defense. I am very coachable and I can learn offensive and defensive sets quickly. I have been told by coaches that I have a calming presence on the court. I like to lead by example by working hard in practice and games and vocally by encouraging my teammates and giving them detailed advice when needed.

I work hard on the court and in the classroom. Academics do not come easily to me so I have to work hard at them. My hard work has shown steady improvement to my GPA throughout my high school career and I am now able to do PSEO (Post Secondary Enrollment Option) which allows me to take college-level classes online or on campus.

Lastly, I am a man of faith. I believe in the word of God and I know that my words and actions are a portrayal of him so I keep that in mind when I am on and off the basketball court.
