Personal Statement
As a three sport athlete at a local Catholic School I have enjoyed competing in my sporting events. I take pride in my hard work ethic on/off the court. I strive to be reliable and accountable to teachers and coaches. I am determined to achieve my personal goal of straight A's and a leader at my school and sports. Thus far in my high school career I have started in all three sports (football, basketball, baseball). I am usually one of the first players to arrive to events and one of the last players to leave. I devote many extra hours of time practicing for basketball. I attend camps, summer leagues, open gym and weightlifting/strength & conditioning opportunities. I have played for SW Minnesota Stars AAU basketball program and MN Rise for two years. It has been a great opportunity to play basketball and travel with my team/coaches.
I can usually be found outside shooting hoops on my home court, the local court at the park or open gym at our school. I have grown to have a love of the game and I take every opportunity I can to learn more about the game and develop my high basketball I.Q.
I know that with my competitive drive and hard work ethic that I am capable of playing basketball at the college level. I am open to playing basketball anywhere in the Midwest. I plan on majoring in business management. I really am just interested in a quality education and putting my hard work ethic to use to make an impact on a collegiate team.
