The highlight of my career was winning the MSAIS AA State Championship my junior year of high school (2017-2018) and repeating again in 2019. However, I believe I grew the most in my career between my sophomore and junior year after we lost the MSAIS AAA State Championship. Since that time, I have worked extremely hard to develop my skills and athleticism, with specific attention to 3 point range and accuracy, speed and agility, and ball handling. My determination, drive and work ethic come from the dream of playing college basketball like my parents as I pursue my education. My hard work paid dividends in my senior season as I started every game and was named to the all-tournament teams in South State and State Tournament and was also named to the All-Star team and the A/AA All MAIS Team. Competing in the All-Star game was a great experience.
I believe my work ethic, high character, and academic diligence would establish me as a leader on and off the court and allow me to contribute to the success of the team in a major way. My ability to shoot the three, high basketball IQ, and fundamental skill development allow me to lead on the floor and be an extension of the coach on the court in real time. Being a "gym rat" and having played in 3 State Championships and winning two, I am a proven winner and understand what it takes to win. That leadership, effort, and attitude will permeate my contribution to any program that gives me a chance to prove myself.
