I am a 6'2" shooting guard and I also play point guard. I am 178 pounds. I am a quick player both on offense and defense. My first step on offense is quick when I go to dribble. I am an outstanding shooter shooting 41% from the 3-point line. Also all around shooter,I shot 54%. I am hard-working and put everything on the line for the sport I love. I am also a smart basketball player on and off the court. I am always thinking every move through on the court making sure it's a smart decision. Off the court I'm being a role model to younger teens and excelling in my school work. Grades have always been an important thing to me and my parents always made sure grades came first.
Some of my most important accomplishments are recieving All-State Honorable Mention, First Team All Conference, and First Team All District. I also was recognized by KTVO for Athlete of the Week and recieved a plaque. They set up an interview with me and it was broad-casted on the news. Another important accomplishment I earned was recieving Kirksville Daily Express Player of the Week(twice). Also in school, I am on the Honor Role and have a 3.89 GPA. I have also recieved the Class Award for Leadership and the Principals Award throughout my whole class.
I can offer a team hard-work and always being a competitive ball player in practice. I work hard on every drill to make myself better and my team. I also am a leader picking my team up when we are down. I reasure that we are great and we will come out of anything always on top. I try to push everyone to there fullest in and off the court. If a teammate needs help with school work, I do my best to help them. I am the first one to get to practice and the last one to walk out the doors. I lead every sprint and make sure everyone finishes. It has always been my dream to play college basketball. From growing up and watching it on television I had it made up in my mind I was going to be one of those people no matter what it took. Not just wanting to play the sport for fun but also I knew that it would give me a life experience. Everyone that I have talked to told me if they could play college sport over again they would. To me I think it would be a fun learning experience and help me out in my future.
My area of school would have to be Midwest and East coast. Apart of me wants to get away from everyone around here and see new faces. My only reason for staying close would be for family. The reason I would like to go out east and play is because I think it is a beautiful environment and I could make it home.
I'm really not concerned with the size of school. To me whatever happens happens. I want a school where I can find myself the most comfortable. What it comes down to is that I just want the experience of playing college basketball while getting a degree in business.
I really don't have one choice of major. I just want a degree in Business so I have a variety of options. Really I'm looking at a business accountant.
My athletic goals for a college basketball team would be to give it my all everyday in practice and out. I would challenge someone every day for there spot to get my chance. I would work hard and still try to be a leader even though being young. I would work on any factors of the game that a coach thought I was weak in. I'm a type of player that loves to hear what I'm doing wrong so I can fix and make myself better and the team. I want the thrill and excitement of playing college basketball. I will work hard to get where I need to be.
