Personal Statement
Not making it on the Varsity roster my Freshman year really motivated me to get better at the sport I love. Then in my Sophomore year we made it to the state championship just for it to be cancelled due to covid-19, this is the highlight of my career as I was a starter in my sophomore year on Varsity. I’ve learned that to be an athlete you have to apply yourself in school. You also have to respect your coaches and be responsible for your actions and your teammates.
I am grateful to be in an amazing program with an amazing coach. I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice and leadership in this past season. I believe that I not only have the talent to compete at the collegiate level but I also have the character, work ethic, and leadership skills to make an impact immediately. I want to go to a college program that is fit for me athletically and a good fit academically. I know that I have what it takes to be a leader and a student athlete on your team.
