Duane Thomas '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’2 combo guard from Northstar in Lincoln Nebraska. I have started on varsity the last two years in Chicago Illinois for Steinmetz college prep. I was captain and started on junior varsity my freshman year.  My team made school history this year with a 26-6 record and won conference. I have a 2.6GPA. 

I am looking for a school were I will be challenged on the court but also in class. That’s willing to give me a scholarship. Scholarships are so important because I don’t come from much. Working hard is the long thing I know. To me school just as important as basketball, you can’t have one without the other.  I would like to attend a school that has a good business program. Far as my basketball I love to play for a program where I can come in and make a impact on the team. A place to where everyone wants to win and wants to get better everyday. No matter what level that is I’m just willing to put in the work to win and leave my mark at the end of the season.
