From a young age, I have been shown the importance of dedication, and the positive consequences that may follow from a determined behavior. Despite valuing athletics greatly in my life, academics are sure to come first and foremost. My father continues to show me the importance of "performing" on and off the court, and the gravity of the attainment of education. These essential aspects of my life correlate with my appreciation for my family, and I constantly remind myself that my character would not be the same today without their loving admonition. Due to their avid acts of support and care, I always have motivation to drive myself forward, and work for their benefit. They are the true incentive in the back of my mind, and they ensure my love for the game remains in my lifestyle.
