Dear Coaches,

My name is Thomas Calabrese, I am currently a freshman at Cliffside Park High School in New Jersey, and my dream is to play division 1 basketball. Ever since I picked up a basketball at the age of 6, I knew this was the sport I wanted to play for the rest of my life. Everyday, I make sure that I put my best foot forward, whether in school or on the court. I am absolutely obsessed with the game. I am always eager to watch and learn more about basketball, to practice and improve everyday, and most importantly, translate everything I practice onto the court to help my team win. I would be a great candidate for your team because I have a winning mentality, I help my teammates improve their game and boost their confidence, and you would never have to worry about me slacking or not putting in the work. I am different from the rest of the candidates because I truly believe that no one else will put in more work and time into the game like I do. Obsession beats talent any day of the week. I am only a freshman and I am going to continue to put in the work so I can reach my goal. This is just a preview of what is going to come.
