I have been playing basketball since I was 3 years old. It has always been a goal of mine to play at the collegiate level. I am a strong shooter, have great ball handling skills and a high basketball IQ. I see the court really well and I am a threat on offense with my shooting. However, what makes me different is that I have an undeniable passion and love for the game. My self- discipline, determination and grit make me a better player.
As a Captain, it is my job to communicate to my teammates, as well as lead by example. I am a leader on and off the court and dedicate myself to basketball all year. I have an unquestionable work ethic and am always the first one to get to practice and the last to leave. My teammates and coach respect and admire how driven I am. I am very coachable and one of the hardest working players for any team that I am on. I welcome all opportunities to learn and get better at my game.
Off the court, I apply the same discipline and passion with my academics. I am a member of the National Honor Society and have a 4.1 GPA in Honors and AP classes. I thrive on challenging myself in all aspects of my life. I am a DECA Executive Board member, involved in multiple school clubs, coach basketball camps and work with children with Autism to share my love of basketball with them. Being a role model is very important to me.
I want to attend a college where I can continue to get an excellent education while playing the game that I love. I hope to push myself to be the best student athlete that I can be.
