Owen McLeod '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a closet nerd who loves competition. I get excited about excelling in school, getting A+ grades and competing in basketball or anything to win.
As a child, my parents exposed me to various professions from which I could choose. One day, my uncle Mark put on shorts to play basketball in our driveway, and revealed his prosthetic leg. It intrigued me to see his level of intensity to play the game with one leg. It made me think that I want to be the doctor that made it possible for him to play.
 
From that day on, I strived to excel in the classroom and on the court. My dream is to combine my love for the game to put me in a position to achieve my aspirations of being a doctor.
