Brian Tassey '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brian Tassey I am a 6'5 and 160 pound young man with tons of drive and love for basketball.  I was born in Brooklyn, NY and now live in Monmouth County New Jersey. I am a Junior and  attend Freehold High School.  I just finished my third basketball season on the varsity team..I made the Shore Conference 2nd team and Made first team All Division .  I come from a large family and have always had the support of them all.  My father played Division II basketball for Queens College and I grew up knowing that I wanted to accomplish much more than him.  My love for basketball started when I first held the ball and has only grown and intensified. I have been blessed with an encouraging family, mentors and coaches who I know will give me the push and drive I need on my road to success on the court and off.  My coaches have always said my best quality is how coachable I am, how I listen, learn and execute. Each year I get older, stronger and my competitive nature intensifies.  I know that with hard work, dedication and support the skies the limit.  Just finished my Junior year and my high school team reached the state finals of our group for the first time in school history.
